The Ladera Heights Civic Association (LHCA) is looking for a few dedicated Women and Men:

Updated: Oct 3, 2021

It’s Election Season and time to once again begin the annual process of selecting members to serve on the LHCA Board of Directors. This year’s election will fill six (6) two-year terms on the Board of Directors. All LHCA members who are current with their dues payment are eligible to run for a seat on the Board.

The LHCA needs committed volunteers who are willing to devote some of their time and energy to continue our efforts in keeping Ladera a beautiful and vibrant community. Our current Board members serve on various committees. Covid 19 has produced some challenges with community engagement, but committee members still work to coordinate our virtual Community Meetings, the monthly neighborhood cleanup campaign, interacting with Supervisor Holly Mitchell’s Office on important neighborhood issues, collaborating with Officials on the upcoming major redesign of the La Cienega corridor, and last year helping to thwart the proposed closure of the Marina LASD station. These are just a few of the activities that our Board members are involved in.

The LHCA also provides financial donations each year to our local AYSO Soccer League, Ladera Little League Baseball, LaTijera and Parent School PTAs, Ladera Senior Center, Sheriff’s Sub-Station, and the Ladera Pet Project. So, if you are dedicated and willing to give some of your time and energy towards these worthwhile efforts, please consider joining us and running for a seat on our Board of Directors by completing the Application here
