Dear Neighbors,
We want to inform you about a concerning issue in our community. Over the past week, there have been several car break-ins reported in our neighborhood in a single night. These incidents have primarily occurred during the evening and early morning hours, with vehicles parked on the street being the main targets.
While the authorities have been notified, it’s important for all of us to take precautions to deter these crimes and keep our neighborhood safe. Here are a few reminders:
Remove Valuables:Â Do not leave any valuables, such as laptops, bags, wallets, or electronics, visible in your car. Even small items can attract unwanted attention.
Lock Your Doors: Always lock your car doors and roll up the windows, even if you’re parked in a well-lit area.
Consider Off-Street Parking:Â If possible, park in your driveway or garage instead of on the street.
Install Security Features:Â Motion-activated lights, security cameras, and car alarms can serve as effective deterrents.
Be Vigilant:Â Keep an eye out for suspicious activity and report it to local law enforcement immediately.
As a community, our strength lies in looking out for one another. If you’ve experienced a break-in or noticed anything unusual, please share the information with your neighbors and the authorities.
Thank you for taking the steps necessary to ensure the safety of our neighborhood. Together, we can reduce the risk of future incidents and maintain the security of our community.
Stay alert and be safe
