Inglewood Toy & Food Drive

An unfortunate aspect of the holiday season is the overwhelming difficulties that families endure while attempting to provide for their loved ones.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the continued economic uncertainty for many families, sacrifices are being made by households throughout the nation.  There are many families in Inglewood that depend on the kindness and generosity of people like you to help make their holiday season brighter.  There is nothing like a smile on a child’s face as they receive Christmas gifts or families that are grateful for receiving food.  With your help and support, we can make it possible for a child to have a wonderful Christmas.

This year, I will have the privilege of partnering with Inglewood non-profit organizations to provide gifts for children who might otherwise go without presents or food this holiday season.  I am asking for your support in making this year’s District 2 Holiday Toy and Canned Food Drive a success by either donating unwrapped toys, canned food or making a financial donation.  If you choose to make a financial donation, please make checks payable to Inglewood Community Services Corp.  

Checks may be mailed to City of Inglewood, One Manchester Boulevard, 9th Floor, Inglewood, CA  90301, Attn:  Councilman Alex Padilla, Tax ID: 95-3775589.  

Unwrapped toys and checks can be dropped off at the District 2 Toy and Canned Food Drive Event on Saturday, December 5th (see attached flyer).  For your convenience, we can also pick up unwrapped toys and donations, please call (310) 412-8601 to schedule a pick up date. You can drop off gifts the week of this event (November 30th thru December 4th) at the District 2 Community Center (1201 N. La Tijera Blvd.) Monday-Friday from 11am to 6pm.
